Government
Printing works is looking for an administrative officer in the branch of
Planning, Policy, And Strategy Directorate: National Qualification Framework
and PSET System Planning. SALARY: R261 372 per annum (Level 07) CENTRE:
Pretoria.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s
degree/national diploma (NQF Level 7) in Public Administration/Management or a
comparable qualification in the Social Sciences. Three (3) years of related
administrative experience minimum. Excellent familiarity with the Post-School
Education and Training system. Understanding of the rules and regulatory
structures that govern higher education. Knowledge of important stakeholder
organizations within the higher education system. Budgeting and financial
administration. Essential is familiarity with Treasury Regulations and the
Public Finance Management Act. Ability to perform well under pressure and
relate effectively with others from a broad range of backgrounds and levels.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as report writing,
problem-solving, financial management, job planning and organization, and
administrative abilities. Time management and problem-solving abilities. Ability
to work independently and meticulousness Computer proficiency (MS Word, MS
Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook). A valid driver’s license.
DUTIES
These will
include providing administrative assistance and operations for the Directorate,
managing the Directorate’s office, and receiving and monitoring all
communications and submissions. Communicate with internal and external
stakeholders with the Directorate’s activity; Directorate financial
transactions must be monitored and recorded. Process monthly cash flow
statements and acquisitions. Ensure that the Directorate’s logistical needs are
met in full. Documents and communications are monitored and processed. Prepare
supporting paperwork for meetings and other administrative tasks as needed.
Actively contribute as a part of a team to the Directorate’s operations and
duties.

papers (where required). The Z83 form must be completely filled and signed
(electronic signature). A user manual and instructional videos will explain how
to complete the form and digitally sign it. On or before the day of the

of their papers. It is the obligation of the applicant to get foreign
credentials reviewed by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
